WESTMEAD KNEE SURGERY CLINIC

Dr Balalla and Dr Michael Johnson have established a Knee Surgery Clinic at the University Clinics, Westmead Hospital. This clinic accepts referrals from all medical professionals, and will focus on the treatment of acute and chronic knee conditions requiring surgery. It is free of charge to all Medicare-eligible patients, and will occur twice-monthly commencing on 1 September 2017.

Referrals can be made either via Dr Balalla or Dr Johnson’s rooms or directly to the clinic using the clinic referral form below. Due to time constraints, we ask that all appropriate investigations be complete prior to referral to the clinic. The relevant reports must be attached with the referral. The appropriate investigations for each condition are outlined on the referral form.

A small number of clinic appointments each week will be reserved for the acutely injured knee, but we again ask that all investigations be complete prior to referral.
